Childrens Services

At Desert Survivors, we believe children learn best in natural environments with their peers and their families. We honor the diversity of our community and the families within it. Desert Survivors Children's Services are divided into two components: Services for children (birth-3) with or at risk for developmental delays, available in English and Spanish, across Pima County, including the Tohono O'Odham Nation.

* Support coordination - assisting families to identify their resources and find other resources to meet the unique needs of their child and family

* Staff-to-child ratio of 1 to 3
* Ongoing assessment and progress reports for all children enrolled, plus a monthly newsletter
* Individualized care to children with special needs
